4-Ingredient Jam Thumbprint Cookies

Jump to recipe

Yum

Here’s another easy-to-make cookie recipe that’s perfect for Christmas.

These jam-filled cookies are completely vegan and require only four ingredients which are flour, maple syrup, vegetable oil and jam.

I used einkorn flour and coconut oil to make this recipe. I also used cranberry-maple syrup which is less sweet, but you can use regular maple syrup as well. You can use any jam you like or have at home, but I picked cranberry jam.

This recipe makes about 14 cookies and is perfect for people who don’t like desserts that are too sweet.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of einkorn flour
  • ½ cup of coconut oil
  • 1/3 cup of cranberry-maple syrup
  • Cranberry jam

Directions

Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).

Use coconut oil at room temperature and combine it with the cranberry-maple syrup.

Add this mixture to the flour and mix everything until it’s well combined.

Get your baking tray and cover it with baking paper.

Make small balls out of the mixture and press a thumbprint into the center of each ball, but make sure you don’t go all the way down. Fill each cookie with jam. The best ways is to use a coffee spoon.

Bake for 12-15 minutes. The cookies may seem a bit soft, but they get harder and crispy when they cool down.

Enjoy!
