Valentine’s Day Raw Vegan Crunchy Chocolate Fudge Hearts
Here’s a delicious raw vegan Valentine’s Day chocolate fudge recipe that requires only two ingredients: chocolate and tahini. You can also use another nut butter of your choice.
However, I decided to make these fudgy hearts extra special by adding some seeds for crunchiness. I used sesame, chia and poppy seeds. If you like coconut, you can add some coconut oil and desiccated coconut.
This recipe is not only delicious and easy to make, but is also great for people who follow a vegan diet. If you don’t have vegan chocolate, check out my recipes for homemade chocolate that’s made with cocoa butter or coconut oil.
The chocolate I used was sweet, so I didn’t have to add any additional sweetener.
- 1/3 cup of chocolate or chocolate chips (vegan)
- 1/3 cup of tahini (or another nut butter of your choice)
- 1/3 cup of seeds and/or desiccated coconut
- 1 tablespoon of coconut oil – optional
- Sweetener of your choice – optional
- Sprinkles for decoration – optional
Melt the chocolate, then add the tahini and mix everything well. Add some coconut oil and desiccated coconut or seeds of your choice. Mix everything well again.
Pour the mixture into heart-shaped muffin molds and decorate them if you want. You can use dried fruit, nuts, seeds, sprinkles or shredded coconut.
Put the molds in the fridge for a few hours until the fudge has hardened. It has an incredible melt-in-your-mouth texture, but it’s crunchy at the same time. I really like it!
This recipe is enough for 6 hearts.
