Vegan Chia Seed Egg Substitute
Probably most of you know that bananas are a great egg replacer in baked recipes, but did you know that you can use chia seeds as egg replacement as well?
For 1 “egg” you need
1 tablespoon of chia seeds
3 tablespoons of water
Grind the chia seeds in a food processor or blender. Then add the water to the chia powder and blend the mixture again. This helps it develop an even texture that is similar to an egg white.
You can keep the mixture in an airtight container in the freezer for a few months and have your egg substitute whenever you need it.
